Meda DeWitt鈥檚 Tlingit names are T艣a Ts茅e Naakw, Khaat k艂aat, adopted I帽upiaq name is Tigigalook, and adopted Cree name is Boss Eagle Spirit Woman 鈥淏oss.鈥� Her clan is Naanyaa.aay铆 and she is a child of the Kaach.aadi. Her family comes from Shtux茅en kwaan (now referred to as Wrangell, AK.) Meda鈥檚 lineage also comes from Oregon, Washington, and the BC/Yukon Territories. Currently she lives on Dena鈥檌na lands in 果冻传煤, Alaska with her fianc茅 James 鈥淐hris鈥� Paoli and their eight children. Meda鈥檚 work revolves around the personal credo 鈥淟eave a world that can support life and a culture worth living for.鈥� Her work experience draws from her training as an Alaska Native traditional healer and Healthy Native Communities capacity building facilitator. Meda鈥檚 work has led to extensive travel to Rural and Urban communities in Alaska, Yukon Canada, and the Lower 48.
