Skin Slipper Workshop with Joni Spiess

Traditional skins have a prominent place in our contemporary lives here in Alaska. Join Joni Spiess for a skin slipper sewing workshop at the Seed Lab. Materials provided; registration required. 

This workshop is supported by the Alaska Native Arts Foundation. To comply with the Marine Mammal Protection Act, participants must have proof of tribal enrollment. Attendees must be able to attend all three sessions.

Joni Spiess is a subsistence harvester originally from Nome and currently based in 果冻传煤.
